We're also not necessarily against getting rid of Egnyte if there's a substitute that could handle both (i.e. However, I've heard quite a few horror stories about VPN being slow and causing issues. BIM360 is obviously the better choice, but the cost is an issue when we already pay for Egnyte. I'm looking into setting up a Revit server that the remote users VPN into, vs. We currently use Egnyte for all documentation, which works really well for AutoCAD, but not at all for Revit. But we realize that we are going to have to start working in Revit sometime in the near future. Up until now, we have always just downloaded our own copy of the model, and pulled information out to do our documentation in AutoCAD. We are an AV contractor, so we are never building our own models, we are always working out of a model built by a designer or architect. We have 3 offices in the states, lots of remote workers out of those offices. And my company is a bit of a niche-usage scenario. First, I realize this has been asked a lot, but there seems to be a lot of confusion and random advice.
